Zac Collie is a director with the Sacramento and Roseville offices of Newmark Cornish & Carey, specializing in sales and leasing of office property throughout the Sacramento Metropolitan Area. Mr. Collie began his corporate real estate career in 2009, and has since completed more than 252 deals, averaging 50 deals per year, for a total consideration of more than $96.0 million.
A strong background in business and dealing with the public provides Mr. Collie with a keen understanding of the business challenges his clients face, as well as the ability to advise them on a level that exceeds their expectations. His attention to detail and excellent work ethic make him a good addition to any real estate assignment.
Mr. Collie was awarded Newmark Cornish & Carey’s Rookie of the Year award and was a BOYA Rookie of the Year nominee in 2009. He has represented a variety of companies, including the Abbey Company; Children’s Receiving Home of Sacramento; CSAC Excess Insurance Authority; DeVry University; Nelson Properties; Paychex; REIT Management Research LLC; RSF Electronics; and Rubicon Partners Inc.
Mr. Collie has represented tenants in a number of significant transactions, including CSAC in the purchase of its 50,000-square-foot office building at 75 Iron Point Road in Folsom. On the leasing side, he represented Business Central in the lease of its 25,000-square-foot office in Gold River, for a total lease consideration equal to $4.9 million. He also facilitated PayChex’s renewal for 26,253 square feet in Folsom, for a total lease consideration equal to $2,658,116.
A graduate of Brigham Young University, Mr. Collie obtained a degree in communications.
